About the Role
We're looking for a creative and operationally sharp Event Marketing Lead to own our in-person and virtual event strategy. You'll build moments that put Obsidion on the map and drive measurable pipeline. At Obsidion, we move fast and build products that directly impact how small businesses grow. This role sits at the heart of that mission — you'll have real ownership, real responsibility, and real impact from day one.
What You'll Do
- Own end-to-end execution of trade shows, conferences, company-hosted events, and virtual webinars.
- Develop event strategy aligned with demand generation and brand goals.
- Manage vendor relationships, booth production, and logistics.
- Coordinate cross-functionally with Sales, Design, and Content to maximize event ROI.
- Track and report on event performance including pipeline influence and brand impact.
- Build an events calendar and manage budgets across all programs.
What We're Looking For
- 4+ years of event marketing experience at a B2B technology company.
- Proven track record of planning and executing large-scale events (500+ attendees).
- Exceptional project management and organizational skills.
- Experience managing agency and vendor relationships.
- Strong communication skills and comfort presenting to leadership.
Nice to Have
- Experience in the AI or SaaS startup space.
- Familiarity with event tech platforms (Splash, Hopin, or similar).
